Why is register_globals turned off?

We are concerned with the security of each one of our servers at Argon Hosting. We do run our servers with register_globals set to the off position. If you are having difficulty running any of your software, please contact your software vendor for a proper fix of the software to run in a register_globals off environment. If you are running OS Commerce, you can search the OS Commerce forums for a fix to the register_globals issue.
